Towers of Agony and Fishing

I had made a fishing character a while ago right after the fishing revamp, before anyone knew how to get to 250 fishing. Now that it was posted about a month ago on the Wiki how and where to get to 250 fishing I would like to start fishing again, my current skill in fishing is 206. I can stay in the Darkwoods until skill 216 but then after that I will need to get into Towers of Agony if I wish to increase my fishing skill any more (According to the Wiki). Because I made a new character just for fishing he has only gotten to level 22 from fishing skill ups. Is it required to be level 46+ to enter the Towers of Agony zone? If so then I am in a bit of a bind for getting my skill to 250.

When I made my fishing mule it was after the Fishing Revamp, but before tradeskills gave exp. Otherwise I would have used my main character for the Exp. Now my fishing mule is level 22, from skill ups, and im getting close to 216 in fishing.
According to the wiki to go from skill 216-226 I need to get into Towers of Agony and then WW for 226-250.

So I ask again, does Towers of Agony have a required level to enter it?

If it does have a required level to enter, is there another zone where I can get my skill from 216-226?

If it does not have a required level to enter, does anyone know if the monsters at the zone in see through invis?

Thats what I thought, and why I made this thread to confirm. Hmmm.

Is there another zone where I can get my skill 216-226? One that doesnt have a required level to enter? You dont haveto tell me the name of the zone just if there is or isnt one. ;)

Edit: If there is not an alternate zone for 216-226 then there really should be. imo

Edit2: It just seems a bit rediculous to me if infact Fishing has a required level to max. Any noob with 2gold can pick up a rod and some bait but can never get to max skill without being atleast 46 and in a raid Guild.

I suppose I will start searching for an alternate zone myself because it doesnt look like in going to get an answer. That or I will haveto get my 216-226 on skillups from catching just TMaps. :)
 
Well after another week of fishing almost daily I still have not found any other zones with possible Skill ups for 216-226. Ive been everywhere Western Wastes, Sirens Grotto, Even tried fishing in Storm's Eye, Eldinal's Mansion, Fishing in the tiny tiny water pool and lava in Fire Grotto, Red Sun Mines, the pond in lasanth, I even jumped off the cliff in Frosthorn to try and fish down there (Looks like water but is Lava :p)
Thats not my main concern as of now though, I have only been fishing in Sea of Swords for the last 3 days.

11hours 30minutes Fishing in Sea of Swords at 222 Skill (216 +6 From items), 1680 Bait used..... and not a signle TMap. I am haveing some seriously terrible luck.

People, if you plan on taking up fishing I hope you know what you are getting yourselves into. Only for those with true Grit. ;)

Im not about to give up though, there is always next week. If anyone has any info or suggestions of where to fish, zones I may have overlooked, to get skills ups past 216 please dont be afraid to post!
 
It's possible that an old zone with low level fish also has high level ones that no one has tried to catch.

Most definitely. I have tried fishing in South Newport, Sadri Malath, sundered Mountains, lake starfall... Ive tried many zones. There are a few more I intend to try over the weekend such as Blackburrow and Firstruin. Wish me Luck. :D
