Tomes and bard regen songs

Are bard mana/hp or hp only regen songs supposed to be increased with tomes? On the tome description it says heal spells/songs and heal over time spells/songs. I would assume it would fall into one of those categories, unless songs was just added for "completion" even if bards do not get either of these types of songs. The reason I ask is because I really do not see an increase in hp regen on Lcea's Lament. Thanks for the clarification!

Not that it is a huge deal, but could the "heal songs" and "heal over time songs" portion of the tome description be removed? I just think it would clear up some confusion since we do not get any songs that fit these descriptions.

Any stat bonus from tombs such as CHA or DEX benefit song casting in context of less missed notes and less resistance, etc. But they do not increase the specific affects of the song the way that only an instrument does.

The problem, as noted above, is giving people the wrong idea that Bards have Heal or HoT songs.

We have DoTs, but not HoTs.

Regens, not Heals. Even though our high level regen can often have similar affects to low level heals.

Better DEX means less missed notes.
Better CHA means less song resists.

I guess it doesn't matter where the stat bonuses come from.

Tomes don't give any of that :psyduck:

Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong Tomes, then. I though the thread was about those items called "Tome of <whathaveyou>" that are basically stat boost items.

But I'm think that I miss understood the original thread, which means you should just ignore whatever I have posted on this up to this point.
