Hello , back when I came to back for ikisith I remember getting these tomes in kaesora and being all "woah these will own crit lifetaps up the whazoo" and then I realized that lifetaps don't count as normal spells or some jazz like that and I immediately went to irc to bug the closest dev for confirmation in which zaela or someone told me to bug meyers and meyers told me these tomes did not work for lifetaps.

Did this ever change, if not can It please change? I do not really understand/see any reason for every class to benefit from these but then shadowknights(screw necroes) get the axe.

I would like confirmation on whether or not it helps spell crit rate on lifetaps too.. I thought it would, but this guy named Otcho told me that Meyers said it didn't, so I cried really really hard and came here for halp.
