Tmap Quest Reward

We'll never know because tthe droprate for the jewelery box isnt in line!! I find it much easier to get the moderate/easy quest pieces than the VE. I understand there are more VE out there but i have done about 15-20 VE tmaps with no drop and maybe 2-3 mod and E's with 2 quest piece drops each. Am i just having terrible luck or was the VE piece meant to be such a pain in the ass to get? am i just crazy or shoudl the VE piece be... very easy to get?
 
Just for reference, I've done about 10 VE TMaps and not seen a quest piece. Can you point me to where to go to get information on this quest?

update 20-25 now still no drop, and talk to the human female on the docks in newport, she will whine about selling some old artifacts of her grandma's thats where the quest begins.

award is unkown quest has never been completed, im the only one to my knowledge who has the hard piece, all i need is the VE which is going to take me 30ish VE maps to get which i think is ridiculous.

Hey guys I think it's gonna take me like 97.18 tries to kill mob X to get item B this is ridiculous RIDICULOUS I say!
 
im not making numbers up wiz i've done about 20 tmaps in the past 2-3 weeks is this something u could confirm from logs?

well tmaps arent as easy to keep track of as other stats, its not like i can parse how many maps ive done. i know i've been on 4 tmap groups that have done at least 4 maps each with a pick up map every now and then which i used 20-25 as a rough estimate. do i think its too much for the VE map, yes, are you just picking out my use of the word ridiculous? i was/am frustrated so i used a word that described what i felt, is it 100% unbiased and totally accurate no but its what i felt. I dont think that but then again im playing in your sandbox so my opinion means jack shit. so consider me shut the fucked up.

I'm just saying that maybe it isn't as rare as you think as maybe you're just having bad luck?
 
Well, i think we can all officially say that it drops. So, on a possitive note, keep trying. :D
 
I'd like to see anyone comment on the drop rate using numbers not derived from their experiences and the experiences of those they talk to. Numbers, they be a harsh mistress.

I assume there's no way to talk you into posting the exact drop % on the piece just so we have an idea what the others might be / what's considered not too rare?

Someone posted in this very thread that they got theirs on the 5th try. I don't mind people posting their experience or asking "is this too rare" but when someone goes ahead and claims a drop rate is RIDICULOUS based on purely their own luck with it, it's just annoying and stupid.

Like people petitioning because the rare mob they're camping hasn't spawned in 8 tries and OMG IS IT STILL IN GAME?!?!

No, I'm not going to give out percentages.
 
I got mine first try. We had one rot on second map. Those are the only two VE maps I've done since I knew about the quest.

so the droprate is obviously 100%

so it wasnt based solely off of my own numbers. I really dont understand the sticking point on the word ridiculous, i've already said it was posted out of frustration so why continue to browbeat me about it? either way can someone delete the thread no point in having it around.
 
Can't win the lottery every time ... can't win at the casino all the time ... if you did, where would fun and anticipation be? Then again ... there would be no casino's ... there would be no lottery ...
