Tier 10 Sword Graphic

So I just picked up a sword from a tier 10 mob. Some can argue that it's not a tank weapon but i'm still testing it out and playing with it. Anywho, I'm a guy that's all about looks and what not...the sword looks like a complete noob weapon. I know a mob that's not even a raid mob that can drop a pal/sk no drop sword with the same graphics. Was wondering if we can get this tweaked out? I don't think it would be too hard to make it look something like the Shortblade of Chaos from Sepulcher or something? The graphics on the Shortblade of Chaos isn't too extravagant and the skin already exists in game, plus you don't see that skin running around in game anymore and it doesn't look bad either. This would be awesome if you could do it. Thanks!

PS well it's been awhile since I have seen the sword but there is this image in my head and I believe it is the Shortblade...

ya it's the galeforce, my bad should have said that. the shadow doesn't really sit with me, looks low tier but i figure i might as well try and get it changed...

What indicates a low tier look? Is it a lack of chrome or what

Having the same item graphic as someone else who has clearly put 100 less days /played into their character than you. That is the low tier look.
 
Its kinda silly to expect no weapon graphics to repeat. I can name tons of awesome high end items that share a graphic with something low tier.

for one, im not saying i expect weapons to each have their own graphics, but to have a higher tiered weapon with the same graphic as something i can duo in dragon necropolis when i was tier 3 is just really lame...im just posting my request because this is a forum for it....

PS can we put some spinners on these shields?! WTF!!
 
Noone uses that shitty DN sword though so what youve really done here is remove an item with a somewhat rare model good job.
 
It makes far more sense to have shared graphics come from far different raid tiers. If I see a character I can usually determine what weapons (and often armor) they have by the graphic. If I see an t10+ toon with that weapon graphic I know its a galeforce. If I see a nub with that graphic I know its the nub DN sword.

It's silly to have the same graphics on similar tiered weapons, because it removes the ability to identify it on sight.

There are lots of endgame weapons/armor with low tier visual copys, so I'm gonna wager a guess that you just don't like the graphic.
 
Hey, I liked having a Dreadspike that most people mistook for an Obsidian Shanker. Of course, I'm now using a Shanker, but I like the graphic!
 
for real: wru moar lightsabers, but srsly low-tiered item graphic copies and Squirrel are why the mmo gods gave us the ability to link items
 
The model for Galeforce is NOT changing sorry, I choose the model for a reason and that reason has not and will not change.

Also, it is a pretty great warrior offhand.
