Since I accidently blow right past the last group of Adepts (Never do the Mainquest if you dont want to level LOL) Figured i see if there was enough people intersted in Tidefang. Last 3 times I went throw Wyvernfang coast he was up, so he doesn't appear to be a much loved Adept.

Wedesday after 4pm EST I am free so what ever time after that is great (depending on when others can show up).

If we get alot of people that are very gun ho we could even try Lord Commander Ragarati if hes up. (52 max engage Adept).

Well we got so far:

47 Paladin (almost 48 now hopefuly will be 49 by Wedesday)
47 Shaman (almost 48 now hopefuly will be 49 by Wedesday)
49 Necromancer

If we get enough people I won't box and just run which ever toon we need.

i hope you get lots of stunners, since this adept can and most likely will CH itself. Also, it's a cleric mob, so all the fun stuff that goes along with that.

Well its a risk we have to take, Azmat can load up all 3 of his stuns. If we can get a few more stunners i think we would be in good shape.

can either mass stun or just try and sap all its mana.. when i did him we sapped his mana for what we could.. we had a great turnout.. he ched twice.. we took him down. a pain in the ass. i dont know if ill be able to show.. if im awake ill log in and check.. im also a bit low.. druid would be ok for heals but i doubt my rog could help.. both level 45.. and i work tonight so i cant exp=/

Both my wife (50 rogue) and I (50 druid) can make it. It has to be a bit after 4PM EST though, because we're in Europe... 4PM EST is 10PM here. I have some obligations that'll keep me away from home until 10:15 at the latest, but we don't want to start raiding at midnight local time, for obvious reasons :)

monks (auto interrupt style), paladins (with shield for bash stuns), enchanters are very helpful on tidefang. Just keep an eye on him and try to keep spell effects running, so you can see when he is trying to heal himself (hotkey to call for stuns as well).

Clerics can stun too. Leave the tank heals to the druids in the end. If it's perma stunned, it won't deal much damage anyways.

Druids get nukes with a stun component too. Useful to know since I see two druids so far and no clerics.

Btw, meant let heals to druids *and* shamen. Or let druids nuke as said in the post just before.

Ok lets set the offical time at 5pm EST then, Gather in Wyrvenfang Coast about 4:45pm ish I will be on after 4pm est and will head there (most likly start killing some wyrvens to pass the time) Of course to also make sure Tidefang is up.

This is what we have so far (at least whos said they will come on the forums)

We realy could use a Warrior, so far Azmat is our only 'Tank' and its very hard to do a good job at tanking while trying to shaman debuff/heal. We might be able to get around currently with no cleric since we have 2 druids and a shaman showing so far.

Enchanter of course would be great to get for the mana drain/stuns (I think enchanters have a stun anyways...)

If we got a cleric we might even be able to try a chain stunning tactic. I realy wished I had been able to get Nabal to 49 (new spells) but things came up yesterday and was unable to get any real play time in.

tbh tidefang is easy except for his cheals if you can controle that hes a very easy mob i sugest mana drain and have all monks go intruptance stance . other than that have healers conserve mana and have " Johnny go hard " dps (home town slang) and youll win np

Anyone know at what point Tidefang tryes to start healing? I know a lot of healer mobs dont realy get into there heals big time until they hit 50%.

If he doesn't realy start healing until then no point in spaming stuns until then. Likewise we should start with the slow burn (conserve mana) then when we start the spam stuns, go full burn on Tidefang with everything.



The monks is a great idea... to bad we dont have a single monk signed up yet :(

Currently we only have 2 Melee types (paladin and a Rogue)

his heals are completely random ive seen some at like 70 and some about 25 you have to burn him asap and non stop stun and hope for the best

50 bard here. Name is misin. Hopefully he wont ninja level :p

Having killed many clerics myself i would say the best plan would be mana drain him to hell. Stuns work well with mobs that are blue, but i'm guessing an adept who is red and is supposed to be hard will prove difficult to keep stunned for 50% of his HP. bards get a mana drain before 50... i think :D Misin is also kinda buffed out. Before we engage maybe we could all head to Storm sea and do some VE tmaps i have there. i have 4 and we could get everyone in the raid some upgrades before we start... ideas...

....misin...misin... You dont happen to have a Toon named Meso :)

Thats not a bad idea Misin, doing some treasure maps could definitly be a great way to start out (or finish depending on what happens). Have to see what everyone is up for however. If people only have a hour or so to work with we wont have enough time to do tmaps and the Adept.

The Adept definitly will be red, however since the removed that level issue, I have heard stunning red cons is a lot easyer. However the more I think about this the more it seems mana drain mix with what ever stuns we have is the way to go.

Anyone know any more Bards or Enchanters :)

to be honest, if you think that you can do enough dmg fast enough.. starting off slowly till about 65%.... then just a mad dash to 0% would be best.. but to keep him stunned and to burn fast enough before oom... that could prove difficult. he is a cleric. so he doesnt have a ton of hp.. but he also cons red so things arent going to be cakewalk.... i believe it to be possible but we would need either atleast 1 enchanter and/or clr or maybe even another paladin... as they do have stuns.. and to main tank really is not that hard.. you have 1-2 spells for aggro.. you walk infront of it.. just chill attacking and getting heals and casting for the first 3-5%.. then do other stuff... and you should be able to hold aggro fairly well... also i have a 45 rog as well. but again i dont know if he would be much help.. we shall see how turnout goes.. if i am even there=/
