Ok, going to say a lot of stuff, but moving the extra bits below. Here is what I am asking people to do.
Most people who edit our wiki are familiar with fomelo2wiki. It's a handy, web-based application that can transfer equipment information from fomelo into wiki code. This makes the process of adding items to our wiki a lot faster than doing it by hand! However, in the last six (ish) months, we've been working on using this tool to not only add new items, but also reformat old ones (the old format I wrote wasn't nearly as flexible as the new one, and this one lets us do lots of really cool stuff with item information.) Since this project started, we've reformatted or added 2795+ items in this new format. However, we are still missing a lot of items, and there are 5199 items atm that are still 'old' format. Now, fomelo2wiki can't reformat all of these, it only handles fomelo items but equipment matters a great deal and it's the easiest to add!
I've written this short guide to using fomelo2wiki to add equipment items. (this is a link) If you find this guide lacking in anything, please let me know, and I'll gladly expand it.
Add your character's equip. Add your alts equip. Add your buddy who you know doesn't play anymore. Everything helps. If you have any questions, need help, etc... You can ask here, or on my talk page on the wiki. Also, the wiki sysops generally check new additions within 24-48 hours, and I usually catch most errors when I patrol, so don't worry about breaking anything.
I'm asking people to try this as both a way to get more people involved in contributing to the wiki, and to expand our community knowledge source. If you've tried to sign up on the wiki in the past, but you never received a verification email (or did and never clicked the link) and you can't edit with your account, check this out:
Well, back to editing the wiki for me!
- Sign up for a wiki account if you don't already have one. (If you do and still can't edit, details on that below.)
- Open the fomelo2wiki guide (also linked below.) Read the top part with the picture and the common bugs at least.
- Open fomelo2wiki (this is a link) and put your character's name in.
- Follow the steps listed in the guide to add your items that are either not listed, or are listed in old format. (listing source info is explained in the guide)
- Edit: It's advisable to also fomelo the character and use it as reference - flowing thought is not recognized by the current version of fomelo2wiki and MUST be added by hand, along with a few other little bugs listed in the guide.

- Click 'my preferences' (top right)
- Find and verify your email address is correctly spelled
- There should be a button to resend the verification email there
- If you still do not get one, first, check your spam folder!
- Failing that, try a different email address. You may need to wait a while (a week tops?) after requesting an email to do it again, idr.
