The Lore of Kedge

As a result of the request for books for the soon to be library, I have been writing a story. In writing this story I have come across a small bump in the road.

What exactly is Kedge? Other than an underwater area filled with sharks and piranhas and funny looking humanoids.

Any background you can give would be great!

I'd imagine Kedge lore would also need to include something about the tasradur (sp) priests down at the bottom, as well as an explanation for the faction hit I got with "Children of the Ocean" while xping there.

That'd be a Tarhanasar related faction I believe?

That'd be weird since he's chaotic good and the orcs describe the things in kedge as evil, unless what they are talking about is a separate and unrelated evil.
