Due to the recent discovery of a MAJOR insecurity in the way Windows handles images, I have nuked the ability to have a signature, set a new avatar and killed all BBcode functionality (because apparently I can't just kill the

oh boy

Yea we were all over that today at work...
I work in I.T. for a large company, and my best friend works for Mcafee.

Word has it, it will be quite some time before a "fix" is found.

Stop depending on late security fixes and instead browse with your gloves on.

Apparently, initial reports that using non-IE browsers would not protect you were false. I'm restoring the forums to full functionality, but make sure to use Firefox or Opera or some other browser as we can't catch everything right away. Better safe than sorry.
