This spawn definitively needs to be changed.  I think that a LOT more people would be upset about this if they hadn't done this quest  before the FR revamp.  There is a 45 minute respawn on this camp and 2 possible nameds apparently can spawn at the same spot.  As a 65 warrior/cleric I can not even duo the custodian who hits for 350 and has 25k+ hp's.  On top of the that the custodian drops loot that isn't even worthy of mielechB.  When the custodian pops I then need to call in my ranger buddy to help me drop him.  I watched a full group of level 55-60's last night wipe to the custodian as well.  The custodian isn't really the issue though,  the artificer spawn rate needs to be changed.  My suggestion is maybe making it a trigger spawn on all 3 tower mobs like the efreeti progenator or removing the custodian from the PH cycle and having only the artificer as a possible spawn.  Anything will help, lower the spawn time in FR , make the Artifcer a static spawn mini raid or something.  Please can I get some input on this if a change is in the works so I can stop spending my time in FR.  I have camped this for about 14 or 15 spawns now with 3 custodians and about 12 PH's.  This is unbearable and I need 2 unfolding portals :[.

Totally agreed....I would have better luck getting my piece by making the artificer as hard as Plaguefang.and always be up...atleast then I could call in the heavies and kill the damn mob.

Make respawn of artificer PH 10 minutes respawn and I'd be happy.
 
yeah i agree, a low low raid lvl mob that drops like 5-6 portals would kick ass..or at least respawn in a minute or something so you can chain stomp it., the camp as it is now is pretty rediculous, not gonna bother with this quest anymore as long as is, the upgrade isnt worth my sanity and i dont get relics so..yeah

The custidian could be toned down a lil bit. He is quite hard and it is hard to get a group down there to camp a mob that could take 10+ hours to pop.
 
Yeah...Ive got a raid equipped shammy/war and custodian killed me once when he summoned my sham while i was trying to root adds......I couldnt imagine tryign to camp this spawn anything other than duo since mob respawn is so slow and it must be utterly terrible to be camping it then have dumb custodian spawn and not be able to kill it.
 
I would keep custodian hps the same jsut tone down the dmg he does... he hits unbarably hard even slowed...
 
Artificier will no longer have a placeholder, and will spawn in 30 minutes.
