The earth terror at times summons you a second after you zone in. I know it is suppose to keep people from Idling in the court yard, or something, but the fact i was at zone in, just got off load screen, and it summoned me, leads me to wonder why is it there to begin with? and why does it get the chance to summon me before I get to see the zone?
 
Yeah, unfortunately, if you have a very slow computer, than HHK may not be the zone for you. /q'ing out at ZI is also a very bad idea. I doubt this gets changed since it has always been like this, and it adds flavor to a zone that is already full of flavor and awesomeness.
 
Oh man just to say this thread made me go back to the courtyard and hang around for old time's sake
 
Out of curiosity, is it even raidable, or designed to be raidable?

Or is it just for lore's purposes (wich is as valuable in my eyes).

I've, oddly enough, never had a problem with ET summoning. I can think of times I've just hung out up front and not gotten summoned
 
I remember when I first went to the zone to check it out on my GM toon. To my surprise snoopin' around in the basement even when in invulnerable mode will send you to your death by the ET. Fun times.

I have done close to 150 AA in HHK and have never been summoned either. Someday I will go visit him, though.
 
If you jump down from above in the wrong spot, the moment you land in CY, you get to say hello to ET.

Fun Times.
 
Then you arent thinking of the spot im referring to. If you jump down from /above/ into the courtyard and land in the wrong spot....boom. There is no delay, there is no pause, there is no sitting around for 2 minutes.
 
No, if you walk over near the boxes he summons you insantly, no matter how long you've been in the courtyard. He's very protective of those boxes.
 
That could be the spot, I dont recall any boxes but I didnt really see anything besides ....LOADING, Please Wait when I was omw back to first floor to start reclearing.

Once I went. It was all like dum deee duuuunnnnnnn. So I was like...okkkaaaay, and gated out.
