The changes to Undead Charm

I have a question about the change to undead charm. I understand that I now can charm mobs up to level 58 (which is great). I also understand that charm was nerfed pretty harshly. My question is, can I still use a charmed mob to solo another mob? Or is it now, sense he only does half the DPS as the other mob, pretty much pointless?

I liked charm because the mob was WAY better than my rinky-dink pet, is that distinction still there? I haven't tried it yet, and don't see myself having a chance to in the near future. I was hoping someone could answer that for me? :(

yeah the charmed mobs still put a huge hurt on the stuff you are fighting, its only the mobs that had triple attacks or flurrys or whatever that got nerfed

and really as a necro youre not gonna see that change much, except for freeper monks. druids feel it the most with the piranha flak boats in kedge and darkwoods, but i don't think anyone's gonna get all choked up about being unable to romp around in darkwoods and there's lots of options in kedge. the 'nerf' isn't really a big deal at all.

to my knowledge the class most hurt by the charm change was a druid. i have both a middle level druid and necro. most druid relide on a creatures when they charmed some thing they went for stuff with 3 plus attack that they could heal and damage shield know mobs only get a max of 2 attack so on most undead out there they has been no change that i can see but this is only been tested upto 34 with both druid and necro if other have more info would love to read it as i level thease chactors up . yours hason the warrior
