Thaz keys

So, I don't think anyone has addressed this yet... But if someone's deity is say, Sihala in Earth (like me) and wanted to get the earth wing key, is there a system in place for that? If so, I couldn't find it.

Would seem odd that your deity choice could prohibit raiding in other zones. Especially one tiers above it.

Not saying we should be able to just hail and get the key, but perhaps a quest to be entrusted with it?

Without leaking details all I can say is that it is possible to raid in Thaz no matter which deity you pick.

As long as you have one person on the raid that is not pledged to that deity, he can let everyone else in.

The subsequent Thaz keys do not take deity into account.

A quest would be cool, but a lot of work for not a whole lot of gain!

My first night in thaz was in the earth wing, so I realize diety doesn't affect participation in Thaz. Just frustrating to have 3 out of 4 keys. This could become an issue for anyone ever picking those dieties, which is sad, because I really enjoyed the Sihala quest.

Don't get me wrong, I realize there's bigger fish to fry, but maybe something like the method for Sihala folks to get earth salves for these 4 drops?

Completing a wing would have told you that! I am not sure why the auto assumption was different to be honest.

I could possibly add a way to get the key in the wing itself for those pledged. Still, the last thing I want is for guilds to not actually raid the key mobs and instead have their sihala pledged character do a quest instead.

have a pledged character trade 2 of the other plane keys for the other.. or even all three... then errting is dyin!

That seems like a great solution! I can definitely understand not wanted to have guilds skip content.
