I remember this game 10 years ago when I was 16 when **** only had 5 servers and in all it's glory was one of the best games ever made. I always wanted to go back and play but the fee just kept me from ever going back and trying to. I've looked around for Legit free servers but everyone seems to like to be a GM from the bat. This server as I've found googling that it has to be the closest emu on the net. Anyways just wanted to say thanks guys
 
I don't know idf you've made it in yet, and I definitely don't want to discourage you from playying because SoD rules, but it isn't really even that close to EQ1, other than the basic class roles and the textures.
 
Nope, its not that close at all... ITS BETTER!

Custom content, far more in depth lore with integrated quests, a staff that nearly kills themselves for the players... you can't get that from SOE.
