I just wanted to say thanks to a lot of people (no names).

A few people have helped me out a lot lately and I'm not naming any names but I just wanted to say thanks a ton and I'll pay it forward.

I don't get it. You're thanking people, but don't want to let other people know who those nice guys are? :?
 
Yeah, just doesn't seem like a good idea to give out names for people who were generous because then people will beg from them you know?

Anyways I was kind of on a rampant posting spree.

While very clever, you forgot that /duel doesn't work here.

Flashback to '99 with that joke.
 
An oldie but a goodie.

Whenever newbies DID actually duel me I would kill them and if they ran ALL the way back and said "WOW can I have my donation now?" I would give them some plat.

It was fun.

Edit: speaking of which, if dueling ever was implemented on this server... You would have to completely rework xp death because otherwise it would be a free trip to bind...

Uh...why? It was a free trip to bind on live.
 
I don't think that you lost your equipment after losing a duel, I could be wrong, though.
 
On live you definately left your equipment on your corpse after losing a duel. Unless thats one of the things they changed with PoP and EZ-quest.

Items not staying on corpses will eventually be fixed. It's just a low priority bug right now.

That's the coolest thing about WoW and the worst thing about EQ.

This way you don't HAVE to make a Corpse run. Seriously the WORST thing about EQ.

count some poll be made about it, to see what everyone wants, before you start to "fix" it

You don't have to, but you will need to, if you want a rez, and a rez = xp, so in basic you have to at higher levels.
 
Of course it won't matter when I'm high enough to care about rezzes. I have a cleric bot and it will of course be a bitch to get him to the corpses (as soon as the xp saved > xp lost by waiting out rez effects :b)

Edit: and sorry Melwin but yeah, being able to drag your corpse 10 feet (if #corpse is anything like /corpse) does not make CRs that much easier.
 
#corpse is like Summon Corpse from a necro on live, minus the coffin.

You just type #corpse in the same zone you died and boom it's there.
