I've had a blast with the three recent additions to baking. I have no clue how I managed to miss the caramel subcombine for so long unless it was that I had tried so much I didn't know when I was super close. In any case I wanted to thank Tao for the treats, and the hints, and actually giving a crap about stuff that is just plain fun.
Last night I accessed the collective mind of ooc and got a lot of help. It was a fun ooc and a lotta tells, and Madelin gets mad props for figuring out the caramel recipe. He (she?) was apparently working on it at the same time as I was. I got the final combine done, and passed out apples to a few guildies and friends who had helped out.
Thanks to Rari and some kind souls in ooc I also learned to edit the wiki. So if you're interested in baking I fixed the triv on Kedge Lime Pies, and added Vegetable Fried Rice recipe and info. If you like the Vegetable Fried Rice and don't want to bake, hit me in game and I might make some to sell. I didn't feel right doing that while sitting on the recipe, but if you have the recipe and just don't wanna do the work, then yeah I got no problem making a deal.
I haven't put Caramel Apples up yet, that'll probably be a few days. In the meanwhile I have a blanket offer out there, for every 2 treantnuts you send me, I'll send you a caramel apple in return. No charge, just an exchange. It seems like a fun idea for the Halloween/Thanksgiving season to swap food.
