Have killed this guy 4 times in a row and every time he has dropped the tank earring (which is hardly worth the difficulty of the fight, the guy is much harder than 8 arm)

Could a Dev take a look and see if his loot table is working as intended? Why aren't the other loots dropping?

Is this the snake man, if so his loot really needs to be looked at.

The sword and the bow are fabulous but the pants were complete garbage from how hard he currently is.
 
Yea the snake man.. he is pretty damn hard, and have gotten the tank earring of garbage x4/4 times. Makes me think his loot table was edited one day and forgot to put it back to normal? lol
 
I think the main thing here is to say that hes currently harder than 8th arm and has worse loot in certain cases, I do not know what the tank ear is though.

Does anyone have the ear on fomelo or want to post it so I can feel bad.

He was initially way easier than he currently is, I do not think the loot was ever changed or at least the sword never was. Again the problem is he has a batshit insane difficulty compared to all of the other encounters.

Yeah, seems by the time you can do this fight the only loot that might be useful is the bow/sword, and both those are still sidegradeish. I cant see any int caster capable of doing this fight wearing the pants (assuming whats on wiki is still correct).

Right Zaela, was just checking because it is a horrible situation to get that earring 4 times in a row lol.

Edit for Rovan's post: The earring has AC14 or AC15 on it.

That is still what they look like as far as I know. They seemed extremely lackluster, especially for the difficulty of the encounter. Eighth arm is pretty much a joke comparatively.
 
Yeah, we took solosolki one time, and guktore/shaltang were both completely OOM at the end, having used mana pots and everything. This is knowing the strat to a T, wearing the right gear, etc.
 
pants were still correct last time I checked (I think I deleted them). When I got them I was told the fight was going to be tweaked and they stood as they were. also I Was like lol these suck and more or less got told they were balanced around the fact int caster pants kind of suck (and they do)

Edit: Found them in my bank just now. 165 recovery X, 2 ft.

One time we engaged this mob when the cleric was at 50m and I died so the rogues tanked it down.

Hard mob.
 
I actually don't believe that you could win that with your cleric 50m.. but maybe T12 DPS have much bigger numbers over T9/T10 DPS to make the fight less lengthy. You also left out what % you died at cuz that matters. Anyways, most 6-man are gonna be way easier on a Xach group 8()

oddly, not the first time the melee DPS has had to tank and decimate a 6-man boss at the same time after xach and marzdorath put their heads together
