The Rare spell drop from RSM needs to be looked at imo, it doesnt offer anywhere near the utility of the paladin drop a 1k 50 mana fast cast self heal(4 min recast?), which can be useful from lvl 57-65. Teratzu's infernal trap is hardly useful at 57. 685 dmg and a 1 minute root for 300 mana is really not that great. You could use draught of ice and fetter for the same affect for 215 and 75 mana witha 3 min root instead. I would prefer something simalar to the pal verstion say 1K DD/root 50 mana 5 min recast so it couldnt be used constantly in a group but at least has some sort of use after lvl 59(when we get much better nukes). For a rare spell in a dungeon when all your spells are bought this spell should have a lil more utility/punch.

since when do you compare spells that are cross class? that's like comparing CH to tarhyl's embrace it's apples and oranges and not even applicable.
 
so when there are 2 rare spell drops off of nameds only in the same zone, one is very good used all the way up to 65 and one is next to useless i can't compare them? I would think they should be at least in the same ballpark of usefulness which is why i posted.
 
This basically is an upgrade of level 39 Elnerick's Entombment of Ice. I can't recall if that or this is all or nothing in terms of root not landing if the damage is resisted and vice versa. Even if reduced to 150 mana or less it isn't practical once 60+; Sunstrike's 1615 damage/ 450 mana, Ice Spear of Solist's 1200 dam/ 300 mana, Ancient: Destruction of Ice's 1200 dam/ 230 mana, etc. Let's not forget lvl 49 Ice Comet's 1120 dam/ 400 mana and lvl 57 Frost Spark's 325 dam/ 5 mana. Rarely would any group of high 50s be willing or be able to make their way to the camp. Perhaps raise the spell's level, making it a lure with a 1.5~2min root combo, and up the damage amount.
