Tears of Elael suggestion.

Howdy All,

I have been hunting in ToE recently and I have though of a couple suggestions for the zone. The zone is a neat outside exp zone. Like most of the other ones, FoB, EJ they don't get used a lot. Remnants by far is the most popular. So here are some of my suggestions.

1. Keep it as is, but remove summoning from the orcs and goblins.

or

2. Allow the orcs and goblins to have a chance to drop tomes. Some of those goblins are harder than the mobs that do drop tomes. I do not think the unstable yiv goblins or scouts should, they're far too easy. But the named goblins and maybe captains & adepts. You could even have them drop no rent keys to their war chests, located in buildings.

2 a. You could even just give them gems and other things to drop.

P.S. Repeat. There is a dragon that spawns in the zone, something the voracious. He is killed by the other npcs in the zone. Please fix his faction so that does not happen, or make him a static spawn. I do not understand the use of a raid monster, who gets sniped by other npcs.

P.P.S Do something with the golems of the tear, or do they have a secret that has not been figured out?

Anyone else, please toss in suggestions or tell me why I'm wrong.
 
i like the no rent key/chest idea.

those goblins/orcs always seemed pretty bland and the summoning is just mega-annoying.

it would be a great kite zone otherwise.
 
I always wondered why the shortcut from Blood Quarry was blocked off. If you made it that far through Ikisith and didn't belong there, one of the many see-invis roamers in Tears would obliterate you.
 
I always wished summoning would be removed from this and other outdoor zones. Meele classes can always box a healer and kill this stuff without outside help, but dps casters have no way to kill this sort of stuff on their own. This is already the case for indoor zones, which is most content anyway, why not give us some areas where we can shine?
