HAIL! I remembered something about free Game shards, so I looked it up and found SoD. Decided to give it a try. Only played for one day so far, but it seems fun. Played Game for 6 years starting right after it came out of beta. Quit for about three years, and started back up again.

Have to get used to the "new world" changes from Norrath. I actually like the original graphical zones (which are used in SoD) rather than the upgraded ones being used on Game Live. The new ones were really bogging down my comp. Not to mention, these oroginal zones are nice and nostalgic - familiar.

Looking foreward to getting to know the players.

Btw, was wondering how much RPing is done in this world, and what the rules are on it? ie. are all non-ooc/guild chat need to be IC?

I play NWN PWs and they're mandatory RP (save for tells). I rather enjoy the RPing a lot. Tried RPing in Game early on, but as I played Dark Elves, my RPing evil got many people hating me...in RL. Had to /tell them I was just RPing. :dance:

This server is really fun and most of the changes to the game are for the best. The new storyline is very good, and there is currently a war going on between the evil iksar Kaezul and the lands of Dalaya. There is not a lot of role-playing per se, but there is a group of people who are flagged RP and have their own channel (I think). Also, there is a role-playing section right here on these forums. Hopefully you enjoy the server! See you around.

That's fine. I just wasn't sure if there were any rules on RPing or not.
