This quest is for the noobie BL chest piece. One of the items is a giant mosquito needle, i found that fairly easily. The second part is 2 GIANT leech skins; Its not that the drop rate is low or anything....its that simply there are NO GIANT leeches to be found. In the beginning area there is a fair share of small leeches, but i have ran around the northern part (higher lvl area) of Stinger's Bog for probably combined total of 3ish hours and only seen 3 leeches. But on the plus side, if i can ever find the leeches for my quest, i already have all the pieces for the next set since I've been running around so much.

Looking for some kinda response if possible, it seems kinda ridiculous for a noobie quest to have such a rare spawn mob, and on top of that, a rare drop from said mob. in 4 days i have found 3 total. More static spawns should be added specifically to allow completion of this quest chain.

it has been quite awhile since this has been discussed, but i've run into the same issue myself. i've come across only one giant leech in a few hours of running around. i'm getting close to level 16

I found them pretty concentrated by the undead tower at the northern area of the zone. It has been several months since I have completed it but when the leeches got rare I just slaughtered everything in that area and eventually they would spawn. I remember it taking a little while but never that long.
Hey, yeah this was painful. I just did it a week ago or so. 2 things to keep in mind. First is that you want to be around that tower, specifically I saw all mine slightly to the west (killed 4, I believe, to get my 2 hides). Second thing to keep in mind is that on the wiki they are only listed as spawning at night, and it definitely seemed like this was true, so you may waste a bunch of time if you're trying to kill them during the day.
