Tailoring, 0-250

Dalayan Elder
0-21: Trainer
Buy 21 skill points worth of Tailoring at your trainer.

Time: Seconds
Cost: A few gold

21-60: Silk
Silk Armor. Kill spiders in Crystal Caverns for the silks and combine one silk with a Wrist Pattern until 35 or so, then switch to two silks and one Tunic Pattern to 55-60.

REMEMBER TO SAVE YOUR SILK ARMOR FOR LATER!

Time: A few hours of silk farming and ten minutes of combining.
Cost: Hardly anything

60-115: Studded Leather
Buy leather armor and studs and apply one metal stud to one Leather Cloak until 70 or so, then switch to Leather Tunics.

Time: Few minutes
Cost: Maybe 50-60pp

115-135: Cured Silk
This is where the silk armor from one of the earlier steps come in. Buy Ointment (just ointment) and combine it with pieces of Silk (Wrist till you stop gaining, then Cloak - one for these - and then switch to Tunics or Robes - these cost two silks).

Time: Few minutes if you saved all your silk armor, otherwise, add time for silk farming.
Cost: 120-150pp.

135-180: Drake, cougar or pantherhide
This is where it gets TOUGH. You'll need Drakehide, Cougar Hide or Panther Hide and lots of it, along with one green ointment and one pattern per combine. Drake, cougar and panther hides are all extremely difficult to farm and this will undoubtedly be the longest pull unless you get lucky like me and someone sells you drakehide. Follow the usual procedure going Wrist, Cloak, Tunic until you cap.

Time: Getting the drakehide and money for the green ointment is the only time consumer.
Cost: Several thousand platinum.

180-250: Wyvernhide
Wyvernhide at last. Wyvern hides are considerably easier to get ahold of than Drake, Cougar or Pantherhide, but it also costs almost twice as much per piece in Blue Ointment. I used about 400 wyvernhides, but statistically you should need roughly 500.

Time: Like the previous step, getting hides and money is the real time killer.
Cost: Blue Ointment is about 28pp a pop, do the math: fourteen thousand or so.

I recently had some problems with your guide (it's a great guide but after the recent patch there seems to be some problems)

First, I was doing silk armor and got to about 50 before it didn't want to increase anymore even though I didn't get a trivial message.

Second, I started leather part and did it to 90 and it cost me about 200 platinum and at 80-90 I was doing leather tunics to studded and I did about 20 of them without a skill gain at 89~.

Third, did cured silk wristbands to 100 and got good skill gains till 100 where then I did 20 succesful combines without a trivial message or skill gain.

So you might want to watch out for this and I'll go post some issues in bug place. As I know I am not the best writer sorry for any mistakes  .

This is for anyone who would like to do tailoring. I just recently started tailoring so these trivials are current up to date.

I am currently at 105 tailoring.

Silk Armor : Silk Swatch + Pattern
Leather armor : Wolf hide + Pattern
Studded Leather armor : Leather armor + Stud
Reinforced Leather : Bear Pelt + Pattern
Cured Silk : Silk armor + Ointment

NOTE : All armor pieces require 1 hide or silk swatch except tunics legging and robes which require 2 hides or silk swatches.

Skill
0-21 : Train at guildmaster.

21-50 : Collect silk in Crystal Caverns and make silk armor. Make a bunch of each piece so u can use it later to make cured silk armor. SAVE ALL SILK ARMOR MADE!! This will save u time later.

50-95 : Make studded leather or reinforced leather.

95-??? : Make Cured Silk armor.

These are the trivials I have discovered :
Silk Sleeve : 47
Silk Robe : 50
Reinforced Sleeve : 70
Reinforced Tunic : 80
Studded Leather Tunic : 95

Where can a Dark Elf purchase the ointment? Tried Kelethin, but the merchants were dubious to me and wouldn't sell to me, couldn't find it in Thurgadin, believe I checked all the vendors, may have missed one, but don't think so.
