We stopped our EQ server and moved over to WoW by popular demand. Most of our friends would rather play WoW then EQ. I know you guys got a lot going on here with the account drive. I just wanted to let you know where I am at and that you are welcome to come play.

A Quiet Place:
Custom wow server that will have many tiers of raid progression. Players will find Blizz like content as well as custom content together.

Our Goal
Our server takes place in the TBC time line of WoW. Players will find most of the early content is blizlike raiding/dungeons/quests. As you progress through the game you will find Custom Mobs, Instances, And Dungeons added to progression. After Sunwell content we hope to have 2-3 more Tiers of raiding.

Cross faction grouping is now FULLY functional. Horde Alliance can now group/guild/heal/buff/trade.
90% Working quest and instance scripts.
Level 70 Cap
All Players make level 60 characters with Honor to buy starting gear.
High EXP rates (For now, but will drop in the future)
10 Tradeskills per Character
Increased skill up rate
Duel Talents

Custom End game content (2-4 Raid tiers AFTER Sunwell)

I've tried WoW so many times...what really make me like it was the progression, leveling up. After that raids seems so much tank & spank, no coordenation, no strats... :(
 
Best thing I liked about WoW was roaming around exploring and just admiring the pretty landscapes. :) I liked playing on low-population servers just so I could explore without getting PVP ganked. Hate PVP in rpg's... I play TF2 for that
 
They have RPG servers on WoW where you have to /duel to engage my first char was on there so I could get used to the game without max lvls just 1 shoting me
 
Sounds like fun. I am a big fan of the 3.3.5 talents, TBC zones, and not wasting time leveling up.

For the Horde! Hope that cross faction thing gets fixed asap.

Using WotLK talents with a cap of 70 do you get shorted 10 talent points?
 
yeah for now we are going to add more talents as rewards for raiding landmarks post Sunwell
 
Tying talent points to certain achievements is a neat idea. I would humbly suggest starting it earlier in progression than that. Some specs can shrug off the 10 points and others take it right in the butt. While it does make it interesting to figure out what to lose giving players the chance to flesh out the intended (Blizzard clearly had "best" talent specs for most class/roles) asap would be good.
 
To be honest I wouldn't mind going above the 51/20 builds and allowing 51/25. Server activity will direct where it goes. building a player base atm. All are welcome.
 
i wouldnt go to this webpage he linked. Followed the steps for the software and i got a serries of popups from a flash player upgrade. I think i contained the damage but Might want to check that out also the "gourms" link goes to a serries of pages not linked the wow server theme.

Well I am sorry to say that when we got Cross faction working it broke all of our triggers. So we need to compile the script again and see if we can get it to work without F'n stuff up. So atm no cross faction but we should have it soon.
 
I don't have your infoz and not sure how else I can get a hold of you. I think I crashed the server by summoning a bot to where I wanted them to be when I had 5 seconds left on my logout timer. I can't log back in on my multiple accounts with multiple computers.

BTW some clown ganked one of my horde dudes I had to take over the Hellfire towers and was asking who could give TBC access. You gays should play more or something! They had friends who wanted to join. Two to three of them so stop being a hoemoe.
