I've been playing here since it was WR. Now last night, all of a sudden, I get the error 1017 when I try to login. Nothing has been changed at all. I wasn't active for a couple of weeks due to rl stuff going on. This wouldn't have anything to do with it, would it? What ports should I forward for SoD? Is anybody else having trouble connecting? The server says there are 270+ people playing right now, so I'm sure it's just me. Thanks for any help.
Edit: It worked last night until I tried to zone to the dream world. It got hung up while loading, and ever since then I can't connect when I push play at the server select screen.
Edit 2: Sorry, shoulda put more information up. Just kinda frustrated. Anyway, I reset my eqhost.txt file and now I can connect, but at the title screen that comes up after you choose your character and press enter world, the game just sits there until I ctrl+alt+delt out. I disable my antivirus before playing, I have ports 9000,7770-7794,7950-8091 forwarded. I saw a post where Wany told someone that WR used these ports. I know it's a bit dated and all, but I figured they didn't change. If they did, somebody please let me know. I ran tracerouts to the server listed in the eqhost.txt file. Here are the results.

I am using a Linksys Wireless G Broadband Router model WRT54G.
Any help at all would be appreciated. Will post more info as I try new things.
Edit 3: I manually repatched with the file from the webpage. I can now connect to the game, but every time I zone the game stops responding and I have to ctrl alt delt out. Anybody have any ideas? Admin maybe....? Everything had been working perfectly from the time I started playing on WR in May up until I came back from my short two week hiatus last night. I haven't changed anything at all on this computer. I'm very confused and beginning to get more than a little upset.
