Hi there,
I started the MQ; which I have to say is an amazing quest. Been working hard at it, and i am in a rut for one of the sub quests offered by Krigok Prappit. I talked with him, received the mallet and collar and started heading to each of the city. Now, I find myself a citizen from each town no problem, I start whaling on each citizen and constantly MISS. Now I know the weapon has proc called Daze; which would require dex to go into effect, now, my problem here is when I try and hit any of the citizen, or any mob for that matter with this mallet, I will constantly receive the "You try to hit NPC, but MISS". Now, I've re-equipped my regular 2HB weapon and hit them just fine every time, my skill is at 51, which is low, but not low enough considering the mobs are green to me and I hit them just fine with my regular weapon. I can cast spells on them no problem either. Now, I let one go for over 20 minutes with no procs of any sort, and tried everything to get me to proc (buffs, dex items,).
Is there something wrong with this part of the quest? My character is a level 38 druid (wood-elf) with (51) in 2hb. Also, does it require you to actually hit the mobs in order to receive the proc effect? I will move onto something else till I get some responses.. until then, good hunting and take care.
