This usually only happens in zones with water in them.
Then you can run to the lake part of zone and just walk thru the bottom into the water, and then swim out.
I think you can petition for help from a GM as well for this.
Worst case, and if you REALLY wanna get away, /cm suicide will take you to your bind but with an experience debt and all the other bad parts from a death.
