Stuck At Load Screen After Selecting Character

Hello Everyone,

I just found out about Shards of Dalaya and I am excited to get started. I re-installed EQ Titanium and then downloaded and ran the SoD patcher and got everything setup. Currently, I am having an issue getting into the game. I noticed that the initial load screen appears to be cut off on the image where the loading bar comes up and then I get to the character creation screen. I am able to create a character, but after I go to login, I get to a Shards of Dalaya logo screen (again it is a bit cut off on the right) and then it just stays there with the music playing. I did not find a solution relevant to me in the forum when I searched.

Does anyone know how to fix this? What else do you need to know from me to diagnose the issue?

The cut-off of the image on the right side is a known issue that affects nothing. In the player dev forum is a solution for it that Grinkles posted. Have you checked the error log file, to see if anything shows up there? Also, try the most basic graphic settings at first, sometimes that can cause an issue. You may need to disable your antivirus/firewall, or at least give the SoD program a pass on them.

Thanks a lot darksabbath! This is resolved. I was able to turn off all display settings to the most basic level and it works and now I am experimenting with which ones I can add back on without issues. I appreciate it.
