I know this AA has been discussed in a few different threads on the forums but they are all related to % conversion of damage : mana drained, the effect of the Knight 1H ratio nerf, etc. etc.
One thing that I have noticed since I first got a Mind Hunger clicky for Bango years ago, is that it actually drains more mana than it provides because the damage applied to the user gets converted to a mana drain due to Strike of the Void.
In addition, since the release of Ikisith it has become a bit more of a problem for Paladins as the refuge spell (Descending Judgment) and the murk spell (formerly Cascading Judgment) were rains. In the case of Cascading Judgment. it was useless at range because 95% of mobs in this game would summon you right into it, therefore draining your mana when it lands on you, or if you were already in melee range, it always hit you - draining mana as such. Obviously this is not a problem anymore with the revamped murk spell (which is a lot of fun). However. it is still somewhat of an issue when using Descending Judgment -- if you cast it on two mobs within melee range and either the primary assist target dies or the secondary assist target gets aggro'd out of range, the Paladin catches a rain to the face. The damage is fine as it comes with the danger of casting rains, however, the accompanying mana drain is pretty terrible. Even with 22 FT and a sizable mana pool (8400) Bango can still have mana issues in exp groups depending on the group makeup so I can only imagine lower tier Paladins have more issues with this.
Is there anyway that this AA could get looked at? Maybe there is someway to exclude the Knight from the effects of Strike of the Void (self-inflicted damage)?
Edit: can the title be changed to Strike of the Void? (Stupid auto-correct)
