Strength on "high end" gear

There seems to be a lack of STR on T13 gear, just like the title says.

I'm not very sure on how much STR even helps over 305 cap, If Zaela could make a replay telling me I might love her even more then I already do. However, it seems a bit off that I was well over cap in my 2 main stats (DEX/STR) in T9 ish gear and now I am well under the STR cap (456 out of 505 with 2 str tomes done). I still have a humors amount of DEX, 710.

This could be intended so the player has to make a choose if they want to sacrifice a buff slot (now that I need shaman stats to cap my STR) for all the cool/fun new effects on items.

Hey, it could mean that I am just poor at picking what gear I use.

I just wanted to make a post so the devs know that this is a potential problem.

Gear with STR on Tier 13 gear:

5 STR : Scorched-wind Band
22 STR : The Matron's Grasp (only Monk/BL)
5 Str : Darkened Galaxy-etched Bone (This is all/all but seems to be more to the tank side of stats)
25 STR : Eclipse (only Rogue)
20 STR : The Weight of War (only BL)

If might seem like a Ranger problem however...

Reinhardt has 468 of his 525 cap
also Lleoc and Reehs are both just over their STR cap

I feel this started from putting INT and CHA on melee dps gear over "normal" stats that melee DPS use to have far too much of. This was a gear idea. Having INT and CHA on high end melee DPS gear is gear because of Tome of Mind and having procs land more often.

All I am asking is if some of the new gear added into the game can have STR on it once again. If you want to add a bit of STR on gear that is already in the game I would also enjoy that but I don't want to ask for too much.

Mainly wanted this to be known.

This happened in sanctum in the past, all the new gear had no strength and it was awful. I can sympathize with those in this situation

For monks, it's more of an issue with stam and agi than strength. There's a ton of monk gear with str/dex/wis/int/cha on it, while it seems less and less has str/sta/agi/dex. I made a spreadsheet of all the T11+ gear that I'd use when I started playing again, and overall the average of each stat per piece of gear was 16.6 str, 13.9 sta, 13.9 agi, 16.6 dex, 13.9 cha. That's not a perfect indicator but if you look at top 5 monk stats you'll see what I mean.

Oh and one more thing:

Does Tome of the Mind give 1% more spell crits to non-casters? I figured it wouldn't but am not really sure.

Also I don't feel that every stat should be well over 500 for every class. I mean, sure it would be nice but I just don't see STA or AGI to be as important as STR or DEX for a melee dps. I do have 170 more AGI then STR however.

For a ranger definitely. Monks tend to get beat on more than anyone aside from the main tank though so more mitigation/avoidance is always nice.

Seems like almost everyone has way more dex than anything else, it might be nice to take some of the excess there and buff other stats.
