Hello, I'm not really sure if it's the 1017 error, but see, before when I DLed EQW, well when I clicked on run to start the EQWR game..this folder opened up, requesting either I play on the test server, etc. I exit out quickly. My friend told me that she doesn't use EQW to play and it works just find, so I instead did this. I went back to configure, said not to use EQW. So it's all cool, right? Wrong! I go back to run..and this weird error pops up. With all these boxes and a K and then some more boxes. I then reinstalled the WRhotfix, put it in the EQ folder, tried again..the same error. Can anyone tell me, what am I doing wrong? ;(
Strange error when running patcher, not 1017!
