Starting up SoD again with friends - what gear should I buy?

So I played SoD quite a bit back in the day and have started up again with a few friends. I have a sizable amount of money and characters to farm items, but my knowledge is rusty. I want to help gear up the 3 people I am playing with and myself to make it a bit easier to level up and join the community once again, but am not sure what items to get and their going rates or difficulty to acquire.

The current group is ~21st level. We have a shadowknight, chanter (myself), rogue, druid, and when I am feeling up to it a boxed monk. I have given us some items I had lying around in the bank.

My resources are a significant amount of plat, the one fishing account that I can remember and I have fished up about 10 treasure maps thus far, but I forget their values. Level 65 Mage, Enchanter, Druid, Ranger, and level 60 Cleric and Beast Master. I couldn't remember the email to my Warrior and Rogue accounts, but that's no loss other than a second fisher.

So basically any help would be appreciated as I want to get my group up and going. For additional information two of the players are new to EQ and one is new to SoD, thus I am trying to make the transition into the game as easy as possible.

There isnt a ton of powerful twink gear in this game, but...

Buy some basic focus effect gear for your caster classes. They all want Cast Speed, and Mana Con, but the most important is Healing Incriment for the druid.

If you have enough $, you could buy a DS clicky for your Shadowknight, its an item that they will always want/use, but they cost 14-20k.

Other than that, just sort through listsold or watch /auc for good deals on items that would be good upgrades. When you get 65 there are some good weapons you could buy the rogue. The monk should just use bare fists for best DPS.

There are very few go-to twink items in this game that most/everyone wants, and the only thing that isn't easily replacible is the DS clicky for the Shadowknight.

They cast the same spell. TOLL is bad stats, and a 15 second cast, and sells for 14-15k. Crown of the Elements is better stats, so itd actually be worth wearing for a while, and a 5 second cast, and sells for ~20k

If you want, and can afford it, I have a crown I've been trying to get rid of that I can just sell you for 15k. Send a tell to solosolki if you are interested, or let me know your name here and I can listsend.

Generally I wouldnt rush to 65,can get AAs at 52/55 easy enough also,65 with no gear/AAs isnt much fun trust me.

With a group of 4 you can get gear from adepts (use Grinkles public adept killers),I would spent most of my money
for charms - http://forum.shardsofdalaya.com/threads/project-grin-community-adept-bots-by-grinkles.29134/

Not so sure about a ToLL,not so great anymore at 65 for the price, imho,I see most tanks using undead frog illu for the lifetap,
have a Toll on my 55 Pally but not on my 65 Ranger main.

Recommened clickies,quite easy to get:

Super nice lowbie weapons:

Frog illusion lifetap doesn't go off all that much even as a monk dualwielding, it's almost completely negligible for a tank, especially Pal/SK since they lose some combat rounds while casting. Fire ele illusion is much better for a tank, although it isn't as big of a game-changer as some people indicate.
