Starting the game directly

Is there any way, as of right now, for players to start the game normally instead of running the patcher?
I've downloaded both the map pack and the patch files from the site (have no idea if those had been recently updated).
Anyways, it's taking quite long for the auto-patcher to finish, and simply downloading the files directly is faster.

Heres a Step-By-Step-Guide of how to launch the game without using the patcher:

1. Find Your EQ Directory
2. Locate the File "eqgame.exe"
3. Right Click "eqgame.exe" and choose to create a Shortcut
4. Locate the Shortcut File, and right Click it, Select Properties
5. In the Properties, theres a Field called "Target", that should read (for example): "C:\*********\eqgame.exe"
6. Change the Target from "....\eqgame.exe" to "....\eqgame.exe patchme"
7. Use this shortcut to launch the game without the patcher

Note: Be sure to check for updated Patch Files regularily
