I was just told that these will be based in Thurgadin. Wellllll, slight problem. Dragons do not like the dorfs so my characters do not like the dorfs. Needless to say, they have been waging a short *rim shot* war on Thurgadin.

Will something be done if a character is KoS already? Anyone know a way to fix the dorf faction besides killing dragons?
 
Ewww bleh yeah...what about folks on dragon faction? I believe ideally the Starfall 2 quests would happen *before* aligning with Giant or Dragon (50s?) but will there be any options available for those of us who have worked to get ally w/Dragons?

what does having dragon faction have to do with the dwarves...? You kill giants to get dragon faction or kill dragons to get giant faction?
 
Killing Minos in GD increases Dorf Faction iirc. At least turning in their horns to some dorf in Thurgadin increases it.

Some folks killed dorfs because it goes along with the rp aspect of hating giants and being dragon faction...that's why.

We are just asking if there is a way to up dorf faction without damaging dragon faction...

Tough luck, you gave up dwarf faction to try and preserve giant faction, and now you'll have to live with that choice.

Ummm, no I did not. Dragons do not like dwarves and I play a role in the mmoRPG. You can check logs, I have never one killed a dragon, nor taken part in any raid that attempted dragons.

Not everyone tries to ride the fence. I played a role, so it bites me in the rump this time. Guess I will live.

Okay, but the point is that you killed the dwarves, so repair your faction or deal with the consequenses.
 
I am glad I have no idea what the factions in the game are. Something to be said about it being so hard to find low level groups.

giants and dragons are not low level content

Which was in my original stated questions. Is there any way to become non kos?
 
You really have me confused with dragon/you not liking the dwarves. Are you saying you're allied to dragons and you're kos to Thurg because of it? I've never been kos to Thurg as an ally to dragons so I must be reading something wrong here.

He is Allied to dragons and since dwarves are allied to Giants who are mortal enemies of dragons he has decided for RP reasons to kill dwarves. Purely by choice, but done for the sake of RP. Dragon ally doesnt cause Dwarf KoS

Ah, okay, RP stuff.
 
Kill enough Dragons to get un KoS. Then farm the heck outta Harthuks for the horns. (glad I'm already Ally). Then kill enough giants to get back to dragon ally :)
 
Out of the three, I've always seemingly just had ally faction with dwarfs. If only they handed out ornate gear too. :(
 
You used to be able to max ally by killing mobs. Kill enough dragons and you'd get ally to Thurg (although this did take a large amount of dragon killin'). Either way, these quests are probably not for people who are in the situation. :toot:
