So I've enjoyed using stances on all my toons since I joined the SoD community and I was wondering if there was ever talk of creating caster based stances. I'm just tired of /s 1 2 3 on my shaman and would like to use some kind of stance even if it were beneficial only for a few seconds. Here are some ideas for caster stances:
Healers (Shamans/Clerics/Druids)
Stance 4: Gift of Life: All heals are doubled until exhausted(Would obviously be a short duration stance)
Stance 5: Guardian: Immune to spell damage until exhausted
Stance 6: Mana Conversion: 10% of all melee damage received is converted into mana
Stance 7: Mana Shield: 100% of damage is received in the form of mana (Nice in some grindage situations)
Stance 8: Final Blessing: Mana is returned to 100% die upon exhaustion
Stance 9: Arcane Fury: Nukes critical rate is increased until exhausted.
Pure Casters (Necros/Wizards/Mages/Enchanters)
Stance 4: Arcane Fury: Nukes critical rate is increased until exhausted.
Stance 5: Guardian: Immune to spell damage until exhausted
Stance 6: Mana Conversion: 10% of all melee damage received is converted into mana
Stance 7: Mana Shield: 100% of damage is received in the form of mana (Nice in some grindage situations)
DoT users and Pet Owners (Necros/Druids/Shamans/Mages)
Stance X: Companion's Bond: 50% of damage is taken by your pet (May already be a BST stance?)
Stance X: Plague of Ages: DoT critical rate is increased until exhausted.
Obviously, some of these may not be plausible, but I just wanted to get the ball rolling and put you all in the right mind set. Hopefully, you guys consider implementing it! Feel free to add suggestions, but try to keep in mind spells/AAs that may be used and other things that would rule out a stance!
