Stance Informantion

Hello everyone!,

After searching through the forums and the Shards of Dalaya website I've been unable to find any information on the stances or styles, whatever you want to call them. I have been to the wikipedia website and that has them for several classes, but lacks on many, including the warrior to whom the stances are probably the most important.

Seeing how there is a lacking of consistant information on the subject I'd like to take the opportunity to start this thread and get them all down in one place. I would greatly appreciate any information anyone has to offer.

Thanks for reading and anyone who will post
:)

I dont think there really is any such information available... like how much % avoidance /s 3 gives... or how much % extra hits /s 2 gives. If that is what you mean.

All there really is are estimates. Like... a warrior /s 9 will last about 45 seconds at level 65 if the warrior has Druid's ancient regen.

Aggressive and Defensive each give a 10% bonus/penalty. That is, aggressive would give 10% attack speed / -10% avoidance, and defensive would give -10% attack speed / +10% avoidance.

I'm sorry I guess I wasn't very clear I'm looking for the basics of them, for example from the information I've gathered to my knowledge the warrior only has the 3 basic stances. I'm just looking for a list of their names, what level they are gained, and what they are supposed to do.

Thank you for posting

If you're actually in game yet, you can type /style list to get a list ... if not, I'll try to get back and post the list if no one else has done in a bit.

Yeah, I just noticed it... Should have read the article before posting. :( Bah, we can always edit it as info pour in from this thread!

Ok, I've updated all the melee styles with the info available in their own class article. However, the articles for Warrior, Rogue and Shadow-Knight miss that info. If anybody has a moment, it'd be nice to add them. :)

Thanks!

Notable Warrior Styles:
(%'s are either the old lower numbers or the new higher ones)
Vindicator: +15% mitigation, no haste/avoidance mods, no stamina drain.

Unyielding: +22% mitigation, no haste/avoidance mods, medium stamina drain 1 1/2 to 2 minutes duration @ level 65 and 305 stamina

Final Stand: All damage reduced to 1 you die when you run out of stamina. You are locked into this style upon use. Last very briefly.

Driving: increases hate generated. i've always felt this was broken as the times I've tried it I've ctually had a harder time keeping aggro.

Furious or relentless something: Requires 2h weapon increases chance to interupt spell casting. Don't really think there is much use for this to be honest.

Frenzied: Gain an undocumented amount of haste in exchange for losing all special defenses (parry, block, dodge) Good duration and very good haste bonus. For use when you'venot doing the tanking.

Steel barrier: Reduce attack speed. Gain an undocumented bonus to your mitigation, block, parry, riposte etc skills.

Living Shield: Supposed to be even more uberer than Steel barrier but its exact bonuses are also undocumented and duration is very brief. I've never found a use for it
