Stamina Regen Items vs Regen Items

I think it is well agreed upon that hp regen items in the raid game are almost useless for the classes that would need them. I'd like to request that more stamina regen items be added, or that some of the items that currently have hp regen be changed to stamina regen.

Edit: Also I'm not talking about anything close to even negating stamina drain from styles, but any benefit however small would be more useful than HP regen effects at the end game.
 
Or make HP regen items percentage based? Obviously very low percentage...

You mention negating sta drain from styles, but really that depends on the style - fixing HP regen would be better imo.
 
Or make stamina regen percentage based. The problem with HP regen is that no healers are efficient to the degree that regen is really worthwhile, from my understanding.
 
regen used to be pimp for monks in old world E Q, but once you have like 8000 hp it's pretty pointless to sit there and wait for it to heal you

that said.. i don't support this product and/or service.. stamina regen is a pretty well balanced aspect of SoD, one of the most well balanced in my opinion.. tipping it more with raid dropped stamina regen would ruin this

if someone wearing a full set of Thaz gear gained 110% of their stamina in the time it took someone in nDHK gear to regain 100%, i think that'd be a fairly nifty bonus, but don't see how it would be overpowering... anyone who knows better than me, say why it would be, but i like that idea.

I'm not talking about regen in terms of soloing etc, or about regen as a downtime stat. Also, care to give any reasons why a bonus to stamina regen would be overpowering? As far as I can see, the only way it could get overpowering would be if your stamina regen could possibly overtake any stamina cost a style would use. That being said, there is already a stamina regen item in game, the mask from Enthann in ValorB, if you want an example. Whether or not this item stacks with Acumen/Druid Regen is unknown to me.
 
I'm all in favor of having something comparably to FT for melees, be it sta regen or something else entirely. Recovery in its current state is utterly useless for melees at high level, even without uber gear. That's not to say that it should be done away with, since it's handy at lower levels and for necros and shamans and the like, but it's pretty much pointless on higher end melee gear.
 
So why not just have the regen be both 1 hp and 1 sta point? Pretty simple solution, yes?

Something along those lines would be spiffy, although it's hard to say if it would need any tweaking, since we don't know how large the sta pool is or current sta regen rates (or at least, I don't).
 
Hp regen is pretty useless now thats for sure. My tank has more negative regen then positive atm. As a tank you get healed every 2 or 4 seconds on a raid named. a tick is 6 seconds so even if you have 400 recovery you would still need the same amount of healing between those ticks as you get topped off every 4 seconds.
