Staff of the Magi quest

Could anyone point me in the direction of some information on this? I did a search here and came up with a thread about someone asking about the Fish Blood, but is there any more information that I may have missed?

Searching on Staff and Magi turned up:

The one change is that it not begins with the gnome on the top floor of the Erudin library, since ShadowHaven is gone.

 

[Luther Flame]

You need swordfish blood, it drops rarely off of swordfish in SG. Took me far too long to get it, kill any spawns you can in the water to make them pop on the next spawn cycle. The basement in SI now has a key, I won't ruin the suprise of where it comes from.

 

[Zarimus]

I soloed in Siren's Grotto for most of level 58 and 59 before I got a swordfish blood drop, it's definitely the bottleneck in this quest. I'd wager the drop was 1 in 100 at best.
