I'm not sure if this is a bug currently or not since I found nothing regarding it. Could we get it so it shows how much damage a spell does and can we also get spell descriptions in-game possibly? : )
 
The lack of spell dmg text is a bug, they're working on it I believe.

The spell descriptions would be handy, but not sure about the difficulty of implementing them, or if it's even possible at this time. Meantime, head over to This spell listing, that should have everything you need.
