Spells Causeing crashes

Do you have spell effects turned on? If so, try turning them off.

If this doesn't apply then sorry I am misunderstanding.. but one suggestion:
If you are still seeing the effect after turning off everything in the options (this is what I am understanding you to be saying) then use the following command:
/showspelleffects off
This will disable all spell particle effects (sometimes on my system the settings in options dont always turn them off completely).
If it is a matter of wanting the effects to be on without crashing your system, all I can say here is... this is not a Winters Roar problem and is either directly related to:
A) Your hardware is faulty or not sufficient to handle the effects
B) The software (the game itself) or your hardware drivers are causing the problem.
Again, please dont shoot the messenger here. I am offering directions for you to check on your system based on what I usnderstand you to be saying.

you basically say 'its broke! fix it'
but you give no specifics on what is happening... Try to give a bit more detailed description of the problem. Post the specs of your machine, sutch as your operating system, processor, video card, directx version, video driver version, etc.
Do NOT expect an answer to a question like the one you asked, and do not be such a jerk to people that are trying to help you. From the small ammount of info that you do give, I would guess it could be either your video card drivers, video card itself, or your directx version.
You give a minimal ammount of information, expect a minimal fix.

Well to fix the problem i had is to just turn off seeing spell effect particles, but i was wonderin if anyone had the same problem and had a solution.
I dont know exactly why its crashing becouse i dont get any sort of log, the game just crashes and asks me if i want to send the info or not.
I also crash like 6 times walking through the area toward sseru from haven, and onlyhting that seems to help when what happends is to run EQw for that.
just asking if anyone has any alternative to haveing spell effects on but some how changed.
