Spell: Quiver of the Sun

I've been meaning to find out about this for a while, and with the recent influx of attention towards rangers...

One of the best line of spells for ranger is the Quiver of _____ line. Each is a bow proc (works the same as a weapon proc, but for archery) that costs 150 mana and lasts 180 minutes. Since they are 61+, they must all be acquired through a spell drop (or bought from other players who have gotten it this way). The first two go like this:

[Level 61] Quiver of Flame: Self bow proc for 130 AoE DD
[Level 63] Quiver of Cold: Self bow proc for 160 DD

Wow, pretty cool. If you're a 65 ranger awaiting your Quiver of the Sun spell, you're probably thinking it will be really awesome damage. Then you get the spell (however hard that may be for you) and see this:

[Level 65] Quiver of the Sun: Self bow proc - Blind

and you think, WTF?! Correct me if I'm wrong (dont know the uses of blind except for pallys to get aggro and in PVP), but I dont see any bit of use for this for the average bow-toting ranger. Yes, it procs a lot and is insanely nice in PVP, but as the conclusion of a great line of spells, I would think this should be something better in terms of dps/utility. Again, if I am missing a key aspect of blind (maybe it lowers a mobs accuracy, or damage, or anything at all) please let me know, but as it stands I've ONLY memmed this spell for PVP and have used my 'lower level' Quiver of Cold spell in all solo/group/raid situations.

Perhaps we can change this to be more in line with the previous two spells (no AoE though, that sucks in closer quarters or near NPC's :( ) by making it a damage based proc. Something along the lines of 200 DD or so, maybe with a side effect (stun or deaggro perhaps?) would be perfect in my opinion.

Again, sorry if I am missing something, but as it stands this spell (being level 65 and the last of a great line of spells) is in serious need of a fix.

Qsun is a 150 atk debuff, which is a considerable melee debuff. It's intended for group situations.

Ahh thanks Wiz. I've tried to test this through PVP (hard to notice effects like this while fighting - especially when you're not tanking) and I guess its kinda hard to notice a debuff when your screen is black eh?

/em perpares himself as the ranger martyr
