Spell gem problem

A few months ago I patched to the server and since then I am unable to right click on a spell gem and mem spells that way. I have to sit there and open the spell book and mem spells. This issue only happens to hybrid classes - Pal / Sk / Rng-
I am curious if anyone else has had this problem and maybe knows a solution. This happens only on my laptop which is identical to my desktop.

I had this problem as well and the only fix I could do for it was to copy the UI from another character.

I've never personally had that happen, but my only suggestion would be to try and repatch, even do it manually, or just copy the patched files from your desktop.

I know, not the best answer, but figured I'd try to help.

Check if context menus are disabled in your options.

Alt-o, and look for the option called Context Menus. Make sure it's set to enabled. (clicked down)

after that, you should be able to right-click on spell gems to load spells.

It's strange that it's only happening to some of your characters. Generally it would happen to everything you play using that directory, as I believe are set for the entire account.
