Speeiding up the Mansion of Portals

I was thinking, if the point of the Mansion of Portals was get to a new place quickly, without idling within its halls, then why not make it quicker for all people(slow ones that take 10-15 minutes to get to the back, to the sprinters who take only a minute or so), to get to a portal. Any of the following might work, or something that a person who has more exp in the matter might think up:

1. Putting all the Portals with a sign to where they go in the main hallway.
2. Portal Speed by default, really fast, really fast out of the place!
3. More transportation options for peoplle who can't port without a moderate lvl item(It takes 0 time to go to the portal when you don't need to go in the first place).
3a. Scale of the wolf on all healers
3b. more items that have speed effects.
3c. more items that have port effects.
ect...

The point of MoP is to provide an alternative for relatively fast, relatively safe travel, not to get you from place to place as quickly as possible. I remember Wiz saying he considered the MoP the most "trivialized" system of transportation he would put in and that things wouldn't be made quicker or easier.
