Sound problem or lack there of rather

After I reinstalled Everquest yesterday then unzipped the spells and files into the Everquest folder there doesn't seem to be any sound. I checked my speakers, sound card, options in game and the options before the account sign in and its on in each place. First time this problem happened and not sure why. Is there any fix to this?
 
a few people had this problem, generaly what you need to do is go into the setup in the login screen and instead of clicking next Press Enter.

Now it might not work the first time, like myself i had to go back and do it once again.
 
Forgot to turn my speakers on before I tested your way so not sure if it worked, but either way its now working.
