Sound Issue/Graphics Issue

Just started, and from the beginning my sound doesn't seem to be working. The sound is TRUE in the eqclient.ini file. Can't figure out what the problem is.

I'm running vista 64 and haven't had any problem other than this one. The sound is checked in the eq menu options as well.

Ignore the Graphics Issue in the subject title. Read the stickies one post too late. My apologies.

Read the stickies, post more info (if you post about the two model thing again, you didn't read the stickies).
 
You are sure your sound is turn on? volume control up, speakers on, speakers turn on and plugged in? Is the volume in game turned up?

If the above questions are annoying then just answer this: Is your volume working fine otherwise?
 
The edit doesn't seem to be working so I'll use this. I just started the game today and my sound doesn't seem to be working. I'm running vista 64 and haven't had any problems other than this.

The speakers are on and work.

The sound is up in the in-game options.

Sound is checked in the eq menu options before you connect.
 
Alt O to make sure sound is turned on & up there. Also, make sure you don't have any other programs running that might be using your soundcard.
