Is there any plan to implement some /styles for casters at all? I know I know, styles for melee were designed to add flavor to them, as caster with caster spells right? Well still, that doesn't mean we shouldn't get any. I was thinking of a few things, and i doubt any of them are good, but just to show it could be possible here are a couple i thought up, and of course, if you were going to implement any caster /styles, i would take what I could get
Wizard: Sorcerous Fury
Activated/high cost: Heavily drains the wizards mana pool while giving a (insert applicable damage boost) percent to there direct damage spells.
Short durration, good in emergencies where somehing needs to die, or for a big ol' raid fight
Enchanter: Hightened Meditation
Activated/med. cost: (must be sitting/or/auto-sits caster) Places the enchanter into a deep meditation boosting mana regeneration. The enchanter may not awaken from this meditation untill fully replenished.
Sounds a bit overpowering as mana regen is already sick, however what enchanter using charm(and who doesn't?) would use this? It would be situational.
Magician: Elemental Master
Activated/high cost: (could this even be coded?) The magician exerts uses his elemental mastery to take controll of their pet for a brief time. This leaves there physical body unprotected.
Would have to be a short duration and besides the coolness factor, there are probably only a few key situations where this would be usefull.
Necromancer: Decaying Minion
Activated/high cost: (this would have to autocast a spell I presume?) The necromancers master of suffering allows his own servant to sacrifice some of its life in order to heal its master for a short time.
Really short durration, just a basic minor regen. Would have to cast some pet buff invisibly i presume, and would be nice for necromancers who arent in a fight, but but are using HP-mana spells. Again, situational.
In conclusion, these are what sound fun to me, not what would be good for the game. I think a few styles would be great for casters, but hey, could be anything. Also, keep in mind that these would drain stamina and therefore wouldnt just be a boon to casters out there
