Solo classes?

Given the state of WR and some of the spells not working(I've heard necro's Fear is bugged, and that sort of destroys any chance of soloing), what would be a self-sustaining class that could easily solo up to [at least] level 20?

Pretty much any class can solo to level 20. Decent soloing classes are as follows;


Necro
Mage
Wizard
Druid
Ranger
Beastlord
Bard
Enchanter

(No particular order )

Fear isnt exactly bugged per say, its simply a huge job for Wiz to put pathing in all the zones, so it doesnt work. Semantics I know. Anyways, I also consider monk a pretty good soloing class, at least until maybe the 50s. Mend and 70% bind wound is nice.

Fear works in some zones, mostly outdoor ones.

 

[Anadin]

All classes can solo on WR. I solo'd Janseth(monk) to level 20 in 3 days before I started Anadin, with no twinking, and barely any buffs.

I didn't really solo much after that, as I started a shaman to go with him.

I will tell you that he can solo easily in Eldenals, and mielech. But that doesn't help you much, as he is also raid equipped and already has ~60AA.

Necros can solo very effectively, any mob that doesn't summon. Aggro kiting, and using pet as DPS works very well. If you can find a rogue to duo with, you'll be basking in sugary globs of xp.

Melees are soloable, Although you have to buy medkits. they look like they only have one charge on a merchant, but actually have 20. All classes can bind wounds to 70%, and 100% with First Aid3. (total cost 3aas)

Any mob that would run away from you when its HP is terminally low can be feared.

If you plan on going a long way, i'd pick a wizard or druid probably. Pet classes are limited to what their pet can tank really.

Why do people think necros can only solo with fear?

Shaman. Untwinked. Went to level 44 without ever grouping. 44 to 60 with only a couple groups. Still able to solo lots of dark blues at 65. Pet, buffs, dots, debuffs, root and of course cani/low mana HoT for minimal down time. Great for solo and very desirable in groups.
