SoE shutting down four MMOs (not EQ1)

I'm guessing EQ1/EQ2 are totally safe until EQN launches, since they're currently being used (at least in part) as vehicles for advertising it. Afterward I have no idea.

I like SoD better anyway at this point after recently moving back here from EQLive... but... *sigh at SoE*

SoE laid off a lot of people last summer, too, so none of this is really that surprising.

1) SoD has, and will increasingly so soon, been better than Live.
2) I am pretty sure with certain game rollbacks and the console hype being over with and Vita being... well a disaster game growth wise, SoE is seeing a tunnel.
