SoDpatcher error

I've installed EQ Titanium, and downloaded the sodpatcher. I tried running sodpatcher.exe, and directed it to the directory where EQ's installed (C:\program files\****\*********). However, every time I attempt to run the patcher, I get this error.

I downloaded the dotnetfx updater for windows, and ran it; didn't get any errors, which leads me to believe it worked.

However, I still get the same error with the patcher.

I also tried to patch the files myself with the downloadable files, instead of the patcher, with no more luck than before.


If anyone can somehow see the problem here, I would really appreciate a helping hand.

You don't need to install the .net framework any more.

Try opening this link http://www.shardsofdalaya.com/patcher2/patchlist.php?file=patcher in Internet Explorer. If you can't open it you need to correct your Internet Options. If you can download this file with Internet Explorer then the SoD patcher might be blocked from making outbound connections by some kind of firewall (this is not likely).

Like Wesell said, make sure you have access from Internet Explorer (not another browser), as the patcher uses all the same settings as IE to connect.
