Is there a SoD Wiki? I am in need of help on a quest, and don't want to be a bother and make a post about it, if there is a Wiki I can look at.

Why open a topic again... there already was one about the missing wiki!
 
I say keep it missing.. it keeps the value of the quests up. If everyone just know where to go and what to do.. the quest would about be pointless.
 
Not really, Wiki helps new people immensely...I would suggest that it goes up as soon as is possible.

This doesn't need a new thread but for those that have been talking about it, you coming to view the Wiki is not a 'requirement' for quests and some really do find it difficult. I would prefer for people that are stuck on quests to have some sort of place to go if they are lost or are starting a quest they half completed ages ago but cant remember what to do.

The positive value outweights the negative value of Wiki by 1000:1. If you want to make quests lame for yourself, go ahead and do so. The only thing it does is change the source of information about certain things and makes it much, much easier to give lots of info to new players very quickly.

Indeed. I suggest when a quest is found in the wiki it should be refactored.
 
Totally agree, I started one of the starfall quests, messed it up and haven't any idea how to restart it. I really enjoy finishing quests more than figuring them out. Your milage may vary.
 
I apologize, I did not see a thread about this (and still don't). I agree that I find it more rewarding to complete a quest because I have a powerful enough character to do so, not because I have the time to run all over an entire zone looking for someone, only to talk to him and run back.
 
I may be able to provide free (and ad-free) hosting for the SoD Wiki until another host is found, if the legal issues check out. If the admins might be interested, you can contact me via PM on here, or on AIM as B1ood Rose. If you have other arrangements, want to keep things consolidated on one host, or whatever, that's fine. Just thought I'd throw it out there.
