SoD Weapon Calculator Version 1.2

Doesn't factor in strength, crits, or atk though....

Might be too complex for you, and from what i can see its only for comparing differences in base dps for the weapons, not modified.

Its great for what its meant to do, could do more with it, but I bet you just havent done all that yet.

Thinkmeats sad at one point that elemental damage is better than people give it credit for, and it definitely seems higher than 50%, but i haven't done any consistant parsing to find out.

Yeah i'm pretty sure my Sidrav is more than 23 dps

But say you wanted to compare your Sidrav, say versus another weapon, you would have a pretty good answer as to if it is an upgrade or not.

Well shit according to this Mirror blade is almost equivelant to my sidrav which makes me a sad panda

ugh this thing made me type in so many weapons.

Earth 2hb 16.94

When people use the acronym DPS they typically mean the number of Damage a player does Per Second. This doesn't actually estimate your DPS (which you would need to know the factors Kibethx was referring among others to do), but is more like a tool to compare damage to delay ratios of weapons.

Edit: To make it clear I'm trying to explain what I think Kibethx's post was about to Brasileira.

Correct.

For instance you have a 10 delay weapon with 1 damage this program reports 1 DPS. Meaning it does 1 damage every second. 10 delay = 1 second.

So if anything it is the raw dps of the weapon without any of the factors that modify your over all dps such as attack.

Thats what I'd really like, a parser. Which is the easiest to use with SoD? Im not familiar with any of them myself.
